Woven is moving interstate.

When I first moved to Victoria, I moved to a rural town that was dusty, sweltering, and completely foreign to my worldview. I grew to know the landscape, to love the meandering river, and to understand the locals views of life - however different they were to my own. It started a journey for me of opening my eyes to the impacts of people’s environments and conditioning on their life choices, behaviours, and wellbeing.

Many years later I sit in a very different landscape and climate, here in Ballarat. The rocky terrain has a quiet wisdom, the wind snakes in to drive action and change, and I have experienced much change and growth while being held in this environment. I have grown to know my own suppressed parts, unconditional self-love, and I have grown to understand my own wisdom and how to trust it.

Just as I support you all to listen to your callings for an aligned life, I must also listen to my own. I am being called to a different pace of life, to be supported by a different natural environment, and to be closer to family. And so, Woven will begin a new chapter, in a new state. From late 2023, Woven will begin offering in-person appointments from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.

Woven Moving FAQ’s

What does this mean for current Victorian face-to-face clients?

I am still available for you, and committed to supporting you as you deep dive and bloom in your wellbeing journey. My work days and hours will remain the same, however your appointments will transition to a telehealth appointment (either a video or phone appointment depending on your preference) and in-person sessions will be unavailable. You won’t need any special software for online appointments, just clink the link in your booking email at the time of your appointment and I’ll be waiting for you on the other end. I will keep you updated once I have a confirmed date of the last face-to-face sessions in Ballarat, likely September 2023.

Will you still run the Woven retreats in Victoria?

If there is enough demand, I would love to keep hosting retreats for my beautiful Victorian Woven family. Feel free to send me an email and let me know what would make it easy for you to attend - time of year, number of days, payment plans etc.

I really want to have an in-person session before you leave!

You would be so welcome to! I have availability for new and ongoing clients for the next few months, including at the Nature-based sessions in Napoleons which incorporate nature walks, mindfulness practice, and yoga (or just a traditional counselling session with a cuppa in front of the fire in the toasty cabin - your choice!). Head over to our bookings page or email my lovely admin Hayleigh at admin@wovenholisticcounselling.com.au.

I offer a deep and sincere thank you for the depth of wisdom and trust you have shown in the work we have journeyed through so far, and for all we will continue to uncover on the path ahead.

With gratitude,

The word 'Christine'.
